Unfortunately, they haven’t been the brilliantly awesome animal mash-ups created by exciting, up and coming artist Anais Maljan with her new venture, Animalia Bizarre.

Here, Maljan has created a world of owl-caterpillars, foxtapus parties and sloth-shark (pictured) gatherings! Ray Harryhausen would be proud!

The weekend of April 5-7, 2013, Cinema Wasteland held their first event of the year in Strongsville, OH. Highlighted by a reunion of The Slumber Party Massacre cast, the presence of genre regular Kelli Maroney, the bold artwork of Chris Kuchta and many well informed, brightly costumed fans – this was a weekend not to be missed!

Big Gay Horror Fan has been struck by many things – take that five year old girl with nail gun bat, for example. She was mean. And all I did was try to grab the last Electric Zap Frankie Stein doll at the local five and dime!

But the one thing I have never been struck by is love. But after considering awesome out artist/designer Jeffrey Flaster’s body chopping piece “Love Struck” perhaps its a good thing that I haven’t!
